Open and linked data initiatives have been emerging for several years in arts and culture in Quebec, allowing for the exploration of new ways of representing and discovering Quebec culture in the digital environment. Although they require technological challenges, these initiatives also question our values, our organizational cultures, our institutional positioning and our working methods. Collaboration in particular runs through all these questions: how can we think of new forms of cooperation and how can creating collaborative links (social, institutional...) help us to meet the technological challenges inherent to this type of initiative?
