Description

Film director and cinematographer Jean-Claude Labrecque used to take pictures during film shooting. In 1967, on the set of Don Owen's film "The Ernie Game" for which he was the cinematographer, Labrecque took some pictures of Leonard Cohen who made a prominent appearance in the film while performing "The Stranger Song" , two months before the release of his first album. A meeting between two Montreal atists who had previously worked on the same film since in 1963, Labrecque was behind the camera of Claude Jutra's film "Take it all", while Cohen was the narrator of the English version.
